Why Robert Glazer Sold His $28 Million Agency

“Robert Glazer owned Acceleration Partners, an affiliate marketing firm he started in 2007.  He eventually sold in 2021 mainly due to COVID and the realization that he had a lot of risk tied up in being a business owner,” shares Sam Thompson a Minneapolis business broker and the president of M&A firm Transitions In Business. “Great information from Robert on selling your business.”

Robert Glazer started an affiliate marketing agency called Acceleration Partners in 2007. Glazer never took outside capital and grew Acceleration to almost $28 million in sales before he sold a majority interest to Mountain Gate Capital in 2020.

  • Create your phantom equity program for key managers.
  • Structure your deal with a private equity buyer.
