What to Expect:

Edina Rotary’s Noon Club President, Sam Thompson will kick off the 2020 leadership development series beginning in July. Sam will lead a discussion around 6 simple ways teammates can go from good to great. His presentation will include tips on how to be a good teammate, plus suggestions on how to effectively lead a team. Sam will interject his own personal stories and facilitate a conversation where attendees can share their teammate success stories as well.

Sam Thompson is the founder and president of Transitions In Business, an M&A firm servicing lower middle market businesses. Sam is a Certified Business Intermediary and Merger & Acquisition Master Intermediary who helps business owners confidentially and seamlessly sell their business to the right buyer. Prior to founding Transitions In Business, Sam was the founding owner and CEO of metroConnections, a conference and event management company that offered teambuilding as one of their many services. Sam has facilitated countless teambuilding events during his 29 years with metroConnections. His previous company has also been the winner of several past Minnesota Meeting + Events’ Reader’s Choice Best of Award for Best Team Building Activity/Facilitator/Organizer.
